Connie S. Rosati, Associate Professor, Philosophy

This website is intended primarily for use by my students and fellow academics, but all are welcome. Here is just a bit of information about my background.  I received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.  I am currently a member of the faculty at the University of Arizona in Tucson, but I have previously taught at Rutgers, Northwestern, the University of Michigan, the University of California, Davis, the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and the University of San Diego Law School.  Over the years, I have taught a variety of courses in ethics, political philosophy, law, and the philosophy of law.  My research interests lie principally in the foundations of ethics and in jurisprudential questions about constitutional interpretation and the objectivity of law.
